Typical Outfit: Sand-colored tunic, short sleeves, gold trim at the bottom of the "skirt", a brown belt connecting a strip of cloth 2/3rds the width of the tunic (said cloth being white with red trim and a red phoenix on it). He also has a pair of black thigh-high stockings on with no toes (for his cat-like paws) and a pair of golden cuffs on his ankles. Finally, he wears a white collar with golden trim and golden markings in the white with a cross hanging from it (his collar from Felice).
Physical Features: He has a pair of white cat ears atop his head that feel like felt with patches of different colors on his ears, a matching tail (a short one that ends in a yellow patch), and anthro cat-like legs with more felt-like feet and patches along his legs and feet (plush-like feet start mid calve but this is only an outside feature. Inside his legs and tail are made of flesh and bone, his ears flesh as well).
Personality: Most of the time, Okashi tends to be rather stuck up, having originally come from a very well-off family. He can be very nice though, but it takes him warming up to you for that to come out. Otherwise, he's got a bit of a sharp tongue and tends to be pretty snobbish and mean.
Side Notes: While in his normal state, Okashi bleeds like normal (though his blood does have a strangely purple look to it instead of red). While in this form, his plush parts act much like socks/gloves would for humans; the felt is on the outside while the inside is normal (only to him it feels like his flesh and, if peeled off or scraped off, he'll bleed from it). In plush form, he'd instead bleed purple cotton (the reason for the purple cotton is the same for his hair and eye color, along with his plush form's purple tint: It was the favourite color of the little girl he was created for).

            Shapeshifting: Can only change from his normal form to a plush toy form

Weaknesses: Physically weak, knows very few attacking spells. Also, fire works WONDERFULLY against his.
Combat: Zero. He sucks horribly at fighting, no matter HOW hard you try to teach him. He never seems to really get it.

Family and personal history

History: Okashi was "born" on March 14th, 1842 thanks to a very special spell cast by a strong mage. Under request from very respected Lord, he fashioned Okashi out of a special white cloth with a lavender hue and made him a small plush cat. The lord requested him as a gift for his young daughter who had just turned 5 years old, and lavender was her favourite color. Okashi was given life and the ability to turn into a human-esque form, his feline tail and ears appearing in this form along with feline-esque legs. He was then given to the little girl as a playmate, whom she loved dearly.

He soon was given fancy clothing and welcomed into the family as an adopted son, spending much of his time with the Lord and Lady's daughter along with their two sons at, ages 7 and 10. He enjoyed his life, knowing no other, and loved to play with the children. However, another Lord saw this and disapproved of it, viewing Okashi as nothing more then a mean ragdoll. He and Okashi's Lord always fought, even over the smallest of things, having never gotten along. One night however, the feuding finally ceased, with the death of the kind Lord. He was found in his bed one morning, having been stabbed in the chest repeatedly. No one found out who it was, except Okashi.

The evil Lord then cheated his way into marrying the widowed Lady, and Okashi was stripped of all his belongings and treated as a servant. The children, however, refused to agree with this and did their best to care for Okashi and keep him well. Despite their best efforts, Okashi was battered and bruised, loosing his formerly long tail and parts of his body. The mage told the children to find whatever cloth they could to patch him up, healing his wounds and allowing him to continue on. When the children were all grown, the new Lord forced them out one by one, before setting his sights on Okashi. He had the mage who created him cast a spell over to, trapping him in his plush state until the day someone found him and promised to care for and love him as he'd been loved by the children.

And so, Okashi remained as a plush toy, hidden away in a room of the Lord's castle until his death. He was given away to a merchant his hoped to sell it, unable to sell the strange little patch-covered plush toy to anyone. He handed it down to his own daughter, who was never able to break the spell herself, before she too got rid of the plush toy when she grew. Finally, it landed in the hands of a kindly old man who ran a toy shop, placing him on a shelf to wait for the day he'd be freed. One day, a somewhat short woman walked in, spotting the plush toy almost immediately and offering to buy him from the man. He agreed, and the black-clad woman left the store with the plush, her emerald eyes shining as she hurried to give her friend the gift she had bought, unaware it would finally allow Okashi the freedom he so wished for.

Occupation: At Stephanie's request (and the fact she wouldn't loan him any more money because he was being a pain in the ass about it), he now works at the local toy store, selling little kids plush toys. The kids don't seem to mind at all he's not human; in fact they seem to really get a kick out of hearing him purr. **
